May 24, 2019 — Today, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) announced that Socium Therapeutics, Inc. is one of five biotech startups selected to represent New Jersey at the 2019 BIO International Convention in Philadelphia, PA. The NJEDA selected companies based on video responses to the question — “Why Choose New Jersey?” Socium will be featured at the New Jersey Pavilion (#1501) at the Convention. Tim Salmon, Socium’s co-founder and CEO, said, “We are thrilled that the NJEDA selected Socium to represent early-stage biotechs in New Jersey. New Jersey is one of a few states, if not the only one, that has a fully-integrated life science ecosystem, from early-stage companies like Socium to the largest companies in the industry. By featuring early-stage companies at an international conference like BIO, the NJEDA is pushing the narrative that New Jersey is the right choice for biotech and life science companies of all sizes.”
